My Story
Born in Decatur and raised in Griffin, GA, Joy Hardeman has always had a heart for people. She later returned to Atlanta, where she now lives, teaches Bible study, and stays active in her church and community.
Joy volunteers as a cheer, soccer, and volleyball coach at her local rec center and loves creating fun memories with her daughters—especially karaoke nights at home. She also volunteers in her community by feeding the homeless, amongst other things. She’s currently earning her psychology degree, loves dogs, and never says no to guacamole.
Before founding Big Little Ohana, Joy worked briefly as a paraprofessional and has been proudly serving with the State of Georgia since February 2018.
Thank you for visiting and supporting our mission. I hope you’ll join us as we continue building love, healing, and impact, piece by peace.
M. Joy Hardeman
